NAMIBIA
In December of 2006 and January of 2007, we had the pleasure of travelling around Namibia with a young Namibian friend, Burton Julius. Our mutual goal was to see the ecological highlights of the country (of which there are many), and for us, the chance to learn first-hand from Burton about the various tribal cultures and history of the country. We stayed mostly in lodges or camps where wildlife viewing was the primary objective, but we also visited tribal villages and the magnificent Sossusvlei sand dunes.
